I had a little minor surgery done today and as a matter of public safety, it's just better for everyone if I don't drive for a few days ;) So my mom went and did a Safeway shop for me! Here's what she got:
4 I Can't Believe It's Not Butter (sticks) @ $2.99 each
- $1.50 Club Card Savings
- $2.04 Safeway Store Coupon Savings
- $6.00 ($1.50/1 x 4 Printable coupon, NLA)
= $1.96 for all 4! That's just $.49 cents each!
2 Snyder's Pretzels @ $3.29 each
- $1.60 Club Card Savings
- $2.00 Safeway Store Coupon Savings
- $1.00/2 MF from the Albertsons Freshly Made Holiday Booklet
= $.99 cents each!
2 Arrowhead Sparkling Waters @ $1.00 each
- $1.00/1 Printable coupon
= FREE
2 boxes of Hostess Dingdongs @ $1.89 each
OOP = $7.72
Transaction # 2

- $.98 Club Card Savings
- $1.00 ($.50 x 2) Safeway Store Coupon
- $2.00($1.00 x 2) Printable coupon
= $.99 cents each!
OOP = $1.98
Total OOP = $9.70!
I have said this before and I will say it again, those Safeway receipts confuse me silly(which is even easier to do right now)! But at the bottom where it lists the savings, combined for both is says that her savings in paper coupons = $20.06, card savings = $7.17, her total savings was $27.81 for savings of 71%! Nice shop Mom!!
Somebody might want to double check my math...for the same reasons Im not driving... ;)
